Collection: Viviana Muzicante

I studied Anthropology at the UBA, thus initiating an approach to the expressions of native cultures that I could later take to textiles. The traditional techniques that I learned I use in the design of pieces with a contemporary imprint, with special emphasis on the use of color and textures and the combination of the loom with various genres.

I feel, with my works, that I am making a small contribution to the recognition and enhancement of textile heritage as part of a rich and varied cultural expression. In addition, anthropology allows me to understand present and past worldviews that I try to capture in each design.
